The Dutch Distance Skaters got together yesterday  for another distance skateboarding event. With people visiting from France, Belgium and Germany it was an international event as well! The location for this event was 'het Lint' in Utrecht, a 7.9km car free lap. The idea was to skate as many laps as possible in six hours, a quarter Ultraskate. The weather was nice, sunny, not very cold and the wind was not too strong.

Although I was skating all the time I managed to catch some of the great vibes. I think everybody did a great job in beating their personal records or setting a new personal record. A lot of people surpassed the 100km mark which reflected the high level of skating. Afterwards we had a drink at the Maximus brewery. Congratulations to all riders and we hope to see you all again at the next event.
